Happy Birthday to me!

(Okay, I'm sorry I don't know how to cut my post. This is photo heavy. I hope it doesn't kill your bandwidth or anything.)

It's my twenty-!@$%@#%&^@% birthday yesterday. I celebrated with my family at an Indian restaurant, Bollywood, somewhere in Greenbelt.

Photobucket

Usually, I don't really celebrate with my family. I just do a birthday bash on my own, sometimes I don't even tell them when or where. Haha. Birthdays aren't really a big thing at home. We just celebrated because my aunt is here visiting from the UK.

I love spicy food generally like Thai, Bicol Express or things with wasabi but I haven't really dined in an Indian restaurant like crazy. Most of the food from Bollywood wasn't filled with chili so much. We got their 450PHP Buffet Meal.

They served pumpkin soup for starters and we had this Indian ice cream called Kulfi for dessert.

eating Kulfi

It's just like regular ice cream but it has extra milk and spices. I loved their Chicken Tandoori - not that spicy but it had a strong and distinct flavor. It's very good with plain rice. Okay stooooooooooop! Sounds like a food review! It's my birthday, remember? What did I do at Bollywood (other than, of course, eat my lungs out)?

Well, I hung out with the band - I would gladly get the mic for the next 10 minutes - only at that instant, I had the urge to pass gas because of all the wonderful food I ate. Haha.

with band @ Bollywood

The band sang that famous dance song from the Ginebra advertisement and had some people do this -

They obviously had too much spicy food.

I almost used the seat as a bed because it's so comfy. See, see. I'm sooo laid back.

I end this post with fascinating photos on the restroom doors. Aishwarya Rai's photo for women's loo and this guy I don't know for men's. If you know who he is, tell me. Haha. Although I won't really be that bothered if I don't. *Okay, please tell me, I wouldn't be able to go to sleep!*

*Updates, updates*

I'm actually editing some videos I got for Chinese New Year last February 6. I'm also waiting to get my hands on some footage from Happyslip's Meet and Greet. And I'm waiting for Coy and the rest of the fab 5 (haha!) to schedule an editing day for the Regine's Salon promotional video. Hectic hectic. Plus, I'm starting on a new job on Monday. But I'm gonna go sleep now. I will have a proper birthday bash with friends and with BOOZE tomorrow.

Helping depressed people

Everyone knows I'm not the type who you can tell your problems to and expect me to sympathize. You can confide in me but don't expect me to know how you feel and tell you my sad stories in return. The best I can do is crack jokes about how lame you are or we can go out and eat as mucn as we can.

BUT.. There's always a big but - I have been listening to this person's inner struggle for about a a few months now. S/He's been seeking eternal rest since I don't know when. I was always listening patiently, always making him/her feel that it's not the end of the world, that death isn't the only way to find peace.

PERO DUDE, MAN, PARE, CHONG.. May hangganan rin ang powers ko.

You know symbiotic relationships? There's a thin line between parasitism and commensalism. That's where we stand. I feel it's not healthy for both of us. Of course I care for him/her a big deal but there are times when I just can't stand him/her. I'm a happy person, STOP MAKING ME SAD.

What do you think?

Game-o!

RULES: Each player of this game starts off with 10 weird things/habits/little known facts about yourself. People who get tagged need to write a blog of their own 10 weird habits/things/little known facts as well as state this rule clearly. At the end, you need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names. No tag backs.

1. I like geeks. That's not even weird. I like to DATE geeks.

2. Everybody knows I hate kids. I'm just beginning to question that known fact now that I work with them. *Don't go soft on me, boy!*

3. I'm known to say things like "Sasapakin/susuntukin/sisipain kita eh." - don't even say "sige nga". There are about 5-7 people who severely regretted it.

4. I come off strong to other people. They think I'm too loud but I have equally my quiet moments. They will BOTH make you uncomfortable.

5. I am an amateur VLOGGER. A video blogger. Check it out . Shameless plugging lang. Hehe.

6. I am a fag hag. Most girls/women from UP are fag hags, but only a few live up to it. Echosera ka!

7. Laitera ako. To the max. I don't care what I look like. The quote saying something like magsalamin ka muna bago ka manghusga doesn't apply. So sue me, fucktard.

8. I can handle guns and rifles. I know how to reload, shoot, and mark my target. And I do it in stiletoes. Be afraid, be very afraid.

9. After number 8, you wouldn't be surprised if I like to spend my time at game arcades. I usually like 2d games like Marvel vs. Capcom or shooting games (HOTD, time crisis). I like FPG (first person games) like Counterstrike and Quake and strategy games like Starcraft, Warcraft, and Civilization 4. In short, I AM A GAMER. I am now hooked on Nintendo Wii.

10. KIKAY ako. Kikay na cowboy.

I taaaaaaag noisierdispute, tininess, jolai, robert, riverbed, murderman.

Complementary videos

Both are offsprings of Fergy's videos. The first vid's from a group of Computer Engineering students from Bulacan State University. The lyrics is provided ala videoke. HAHA.

Killer stanza:

"Itigil na ang dakdak
Ang higil ko ay black
para di kita ang fat
I'm delicious (Salaginto't salagubang)
So delicious (Kung gumiri'y parang tandang)
T-t-t-t-tasty tasty!"

Now, if you're particulary squeamish with scat porn, don't watch. HAHAHA. Courtesy of [info]THE SIEGE

Killer stanza:

Poo poo poo poo pee pee juice

If you have virgin ears, listen to this. Just make sure you're using your headphones. It's just mp3.

VIRGINIA TECH GUNMAN @ YAHOO NEWS

If you haven't heard about the shoot out at Virginia Tech, then I'd say you're either in outer space or you don't have TV. The news is just so ironic. Hahaha.

I'm still alive out here!

I have been online most of the time for the past month but never really bothered to blog. I had to finish my work before I was officially resigned, so I worked my arse off for the past two weeks. Anyway, I'm part of the unemployed now, so I horse around the house, watch TV for hours, or browse porn. Hehe. This maybe a lengthy entry - cut into parts so the reader will not be confused.

Mother-daughter Encounter at Mercury Drugstore

M: Hindi.. para 'to sa ano..
D: Ahh! Ma, bigyan mo ko nyan ha. May sugat kasi ako eh!

What's on the tube

 bleach      nana

BLEACH                            NANA

I'm watching quite a few shows now, usually one or two episodes of each everyday, depending on my mood. Four animes - Bleach, Deathnote, Naruto and Nana. Bleach is the usual Shounnen anime (for boys with lotsa bottom-kicking and swordfighting - hindi espadahan ha). The theme isn't unusual but it's just fascinating to see Death Gods killing each other with elongated swords. While Nana is a Shoujo anime (for girls, mushy) but isn't really about a man and a woman's relationship. It's about two women - from totally different worlds - but so passionate about  their friendship it's almost lesbian. We all need a little feminine fix from time to time. I guess everyone's heard of Naruto and Deathnote, they're pretty famous.

I'm also watching Numbers, crime-busting using math and logic. Some of the methods are far-fetched but I'm not a math expert. I'm also inching my way to finish the third season of Grey's Anatomy. Movies I recently watched are Murder on the Orient Express (1974) and Fight back to School II (starring Stephen Chow).

The bottomline is I'm bored.

----------------------------------------

I'm working on an animation poem about Filipino repeating names like Ping Ping or Dodong. Any suggestions or more names? My DA is about as dead as cold fish and I haven't started on ANY concept yet.

I'm just kicking back and enjoying my joblessness.

Underwear on my birthday suit

I invited a few friends over last February 10. I actually cooked for them - which is a bad thing. Poisoning isn't even the worst case scenario. But they are such good friends, they ate it all up especially the 'vegetarian' pasta. Bwahaha!

Anyway, I went to the UP Fair last friday. I got to meet some orgmates, chika chika, tambay at the first aid station, but it wasn't that fun anymore. My headache started at around 1 AM, I got sleepy then it started getting friggin' cold. I dozed off inside the tent until 2 AM - the crowd went rowdy for some reason. I got up and sang BSB songs until my face got red, jogged around and then ended up sleeping on a spineboard.

But, one of the best things I got out of it is showing you these awesome underthings the UP Anthropology Society was selling.

Show the boys how proud you are of your alma mater.

[I'm still working on the Read or die convention entry. It's pretty long.]
