I'm trying to post this as soon as possible to meet the 11:59PM deadline before it becomes 7-6-06. It's funny how people are so jaded with the notion of the world ending. Yes, we have been threatened innumerable times - I remember getting scared every New Years' eve for about five years because of the 'impending Doomsday'. But, doom shall not fall upon us today. There is another cause for celebration.

Joke joke joke! 

But, seriously - you know why I'm blogging about this? To convince you that there is INDEED an armageddon waiting to happen. And it's not today, it's on June 11, Sunday, at exactly 4 PM.

Remember them? Nostalgia at it's finest. Boooya.

I hate rural areas.

I never really confirmed it until I was invited to my orgmate's (Kei) 18th birthday last Saturday to a far away place called Sta. Maria, Bulacan. We spent the night at Kei's place even after seeing her Dad capture a sawa on the rooftop.

Snakes stargazing? No waaay!

After eating breakfast, Kei wanted us to go to the "ilog". Maganda raw ang view. Pero, kahindikhindik naman ang paglalakbay namin! 3 fields ata ng araruhan (may palay) at tinahak namin. Kamusta naman yung suot kong tsinelas? BANANA PEEL! I got stuck, fell on my knees, dug out mud, got pierced by makahiya things and other vines, and maybe, just maybe stepped on pig dung. 

We saw interesting things on the way home. A 2.5-kilometer walk isn't so bad with the sweltering heat and all.

A urinating cow. The liquid is GUSHING from it's behind. Freaky!

We also saw this BIG bird nest that coincidentially looks like a vagina. You see it? Hahaha!

Therefore, I hate rural areas.
